REDI Enterprises Society supports individuals to realize their dreams and wishes. Speaking on your own behalf is important in determining and directing your own life.
Self-advocates serve an important role in communicating between persons with disabilities, service organizations and the community.
Objectives of Self Advocates- gain leadership skills.
- assume varied and valued roles as members of community organizations.
- participate in local, regional and provincial forums, meetings and conferences.
- to learn about human rights, city, provincial and federal government programs and services.
- to gain skills in decision-making, deciding for yourself, problem solving, and social networking.
REDI supports a group of self advocates, The Action Group (TAG) to host monthly meetings. All members have a right to vote on issues and decisions of the group.
